It's nice to enjoy the small things.

Tonight I am thankful because Bon Jovi is rockin' the free? world just a few blocks from my swank yet ghetto apartment. The crowd is 50,000 plus. I've got the windows open to catch a nice cross breeze & still can't hear a thing beyond normal NYC noise. As a busker I find myself in an unusual state of agreement with the NYC Park Department's Noise Police.

You're lucky. I'm in Astoria, 3 blocks from a park, and when they have a concert there, it's really loud for blocks around...

All the best,

I really appreciate these links - so that's what cross breeze means! Also, the Burning Man photo is sweet. Which reminds me, I got a text from Victor the other night saying the Mercury Men are going to Burning Man... Unitard and silver face paint in the desert sun? Sign me up! Oh, and thanks again for the Bon Jovi tix homey! It's so great to see the Great Lawn used for something Important and Apolitical.

Say, John. It has been over 11 years since you have posted. How long are you going to keep us on the edge of our seats???
